Convert DVD to AC3 audio files by DVD Audio Ripper

Step1: Open DVD
You need make preparations before open DVD:
Download, install and start DVD Audio Ripper from our website.
After the main interface appears, you can click "Open DVD" button or "Open IFO files" button in the toolbar. You can also choose "File>Add DVD Folder..."/"Add IFO Files..." option. And then select "DVD Drive or DVD Folder" option from the new dialog window so that DVD Audio Ripper can open DVD and load DVD info in the file list, so you will see "Name", "Duration", "Chapters", "Target" and "Status" options.


Tip: How to get Disc info?
Get more Disc info by operating DVD Audio Ripper as the following methods:
Click "Get Disc Info "button in the toolbar, or click "File>Get Disc Info" option in the menu bar. Soon after you will see the loaded Disc info from the new pop-up dialog window, such as "Title Name" and "Chapter Name" options.


Step 2: Specify output format
Specify output formats by the next operations:
Select "Common Audio" format from "Class" option by clicking its right down button. Then choose "AC3 - Dolby Digital AC-3(*.ac3)" format from "Profile" option.


Tip: How to set parameters?
If you want to adjust output settings, you need change some options' parameters. So click any options in the left side of the main interface, and then click options' right down button to choose suitable parameters.


Step 3: Choose destination folder and start conversion
Click "Browse" button to select an output folder and click "OK" button in the new dialog window. Then check all the video files or select your favorite DVD files from the file list, and next click "Start ripping" button in the toolbar or choose "File>Rip All Checked" option to rip all the checked video files. Or choose "File>Rip Selected" option from the menu bar to convert selected DVD files. So DVD Audio Ripper will start ripping DVD to AC3 and the ripping process appears under "Status" option.


Tip1: How to view DVD files?
Operate DVD Audio Ripper to view video files as the following method:
You can choose a video file from the file list, and then click "Play" button in the left side of main interface to view the selected video file. Tip2: How to trim video files?
If you would like to select the video segments for trimming, you need click "Trim" button in the toolbar so that "Video Trim" dialog window can pop up. Then click "Play" button in the new toolbar. At last, click "Set Start" button and "Set End" button to select your needed video segments. Note: You may click "Reset" button to reset the new video segments if necessary.


Tip3: How to remove or clear video files?
Maybe some video files are useless for this conversion, so select the video files you want to remove, and click "Edit>Remove" option to remove the selected video files. If you want to clear all the video files for opening new video files, click "Clear" option in the "Edit" drop-down list. Tip4: How to show and hide video files?
When you need some video chapters for conversion, you will click "Show Chapters" button in the toolbar to show all the video files and you can select video chapters from the file list for conversion.
If you would like to convert some video titles, click "Hide Chapters" button and choose some video titles for conversion.
Tip5: How to select video files?
If you want to select all the video titles or some video chapters, choose "Select All"/"Select All Chidren" option from "Edit" drop-down-list in the menu bar.
