How to convert DVD to AVI video files by DVD Ripper?

Process List:
1: How to Open DVD?
Download, install and run Joboshare DVD Ripper at first. Then open DVD by clicking "Open DVD"/"Open IFO Files" button in the toolbar. Or select "File->Add DVD Folder.../Add IFO Files..." option from the menu bar. Finally choose "DVD Drive" or "DVD Files" option and click "OK" button. So DVD Ripper will download DVD info to the file list. And you will see "Name", "Duration", "Chapters", "Target" and "Status" options.


Tip: How to get Disc info?
You can get DVD detailed in the file list. Click "Get Disc info" in the toolbar. Or choose "Get Disc Info" button from the drop-down list of "File". After DVD Ripper loads the info from the website database, you will see more Disc info such as "Title Name" and "Chapter Name".


2: How to specify output format?
In order to get ripped AVI video files, we need to specify output format. Choose "Common Video" option from "Class". Then select "AVI - Audio-Video Interleaved (* avi)" option from "Profile".

Tip: How to set parameters?
Set parameters for "Audio" and "Video" options to adjust output settings if you need. Click any options you want to adjust, then choose parameters by clicking right down arrow mark.


3: How to select destination folder and start ripping?
First, Press "Browse" button in the toolbar to select a destination folder in the open dialog window, and click "OK" button. Second, choose files you want to rip , then click "Start ripping" button in the toolbar, so the software DVD Ripper starts to rip the selected video files. Finally the ripping process can be seen through the progress bar in the file list.


Tip: How to trim video segments?
When you want to trim ripped segments, do it as the following: Firstly, select a chapter or title from the file list. Secondly, click "Trim" button in the toolbar. So you will see a new player - "Video Trim". Then click "Play" button in the new toolbar, finally set start point and end point according to your needs. You can click "Reset" button to reset new segments if possible. So you will view the segments by clicking "Open" button in the toolbar.
