Part1: Start DVD to MP4 Converter and Add DVD
After download DVD to MP4 Converter, run it immediately. Then click "Open DVD" button to select a DVD (DVD Folder, ISO file or IFO file ) in the toolbar. Another method is to choose "Add DVD Folder..." or "Add IFO Files..." option in "File" drop-down menu. And click "OK" button to add DVD. The loaded DVD's information can appear in the file list, including "Name", "Duration", "Chapters", "Target" and "Status".


Tip: Get Disc information

Step2: Choose output format
First of all, select "Common Video" option from "Class" right drop-down list, and then click "Profile" drop-down button, finally choose "MKV - MKV Video Format(*.mkv)". If you only convert needed files, choose the files you want at first. Then begin to select output format according to the above order.


Tip: Set parameters
To adjust output settings, you will set detailed parameters in the left panel. So change options' parameters under "Audio" and "Video". Click any options you need to set parameters at first. If a down arrow mark shows in the right, click the down arrow mark to select suitable parameters.


Step3: Select destination and Start ripping
In order to store converted files, you can select destination at first. You will operate the software like this: Click "Browse" button in the toolbar to select a destination folder, and click "OK" button in the new pop-up window. After finishing the above settings, choose the needed files to rip from the file list, finally click "Start ripping" button in the toolbar, so the software will start to rip the selected files. Notice the file list, the ripping process in the process bar will appear under "Status" option. You can click "Pause ripping" button to pause the converting process or press "Stop ripping" button to stop the ripping process when necessary.


Tip: Trim video segments
You can clip the original video into several parts, then convert and output them as different parts or a whole one. So click "Trim" button in the toolbar to open "Video Trim" dialog window , then click "Play" button in the new toolbar. Finally click "Set Start" button and "Set End" button to get video segments. You can click "Reset" button to reset video segments as requirements. So in the end you will get converted video segments.
