Step 1: Load a video/audio file
Click the "Browse" button right beside "Input File" label to select the audio/video file you want to make ringtone in the dialog that pops up, locate the music/video files from your PC, then click "OK" button to load the file into the "Input File" textbox.

Step 2: Adjust the output settings
When you load a certain audio/video file in "Input File" label, the default "Output File Name" will keep the original name, you may enter a new name to replace. And in the "Outpur Folder" label, click "Browse" button on the right side of the "Output Folder" to choose a folder for saving the outputted ringtones.
Tips: 1) The saving path can be automatically generated in "Output folder", you will see "C:\.....".

Step 3: Edit ringtone
1. Clip segment for ringtone
Click "Play" button to listen to the music and locate which part you want to clip. Drag and drop the Start & End sliders to get a music clip, or click "Set Start Point" and "Set End Point" buttons to extract a clip when the player comes to the points you want, or type the start & end time directly in the corresponding text boxes. When you get the music clip, prelisten to it just click "Play clip" button to check.
2. Add fade-in and fade-out effects
Check the "Fade in" and "Fade out" checkboxes, and set the fade-in and fade-out time according to your need.
3. Adjust ringtone volume
Drag the volume slider to set the ringtone volume freely. And the the limit of sound expanding doesn't go beyond 200% of the original.

Step 4: Manage iPhone ringtone
Check "Add to iTunes" and "Add to iPhone/iPad 2" options, you can easily copy ringtone files into iPhone/iPad or iTunes library for backup, even transfer ringtones to both iPhone/iPad 2 and iTunes library at the same time. Click "Ringtone Manager" button and in the ringtone list box, manage all the ringtones you generated by this iPhone ringtone maker, such as delete or rename the ringtone, transfer ringtones to iPhone/PC/iTunes library.

Tip: If you want to transfer the ringtone to iPod touch/iPhone/iPad 2, maker sure first connect the certain device (iPod touch/iPhone/iPad 2) to your computer with USB cable, so the "Add to iPad/iPhone" combo box will be activated, you can check the box and the ringtone will be automatically added to iPhone/iPad after the ringtone making.
Step 5: Start to generate ringtones
When everything is finished, click "Generate" button to start to make your own iPhone ringtone from your loved music. You can check the converting process from the progress bar at the bottom.
