How to transfer iPod music/videos to iPad on Mac?

How do I transfer music from my iPod touch to my iPad 2? I'm not sure how but on the iPod it say would you like to delete the music and transfer it to the iPad and I don't want that I want the music to stay in both the iPod touch and the iPad. Help please? - Yahoo! Answer

1. Download and run the software
